Schedule
May 5, 2020 Parents, Students, and Patrons I wanted to write a quick note to clear up any misunderstandings concerning the upcoming graduation ceremonies at USD 218. The Morton County Health Department, Morton County Attorney, Morton County Commissioners, and City Administration have been outstanding advocates as USD 218 has worked to devise a commencement plan that would stay within the guidelines of Governor Kelly’s Executive Order 20-29, and allow us to honor our graduating seniors. Every decision concerning this matter was made in the best interest of our school and the graduates. If you get a chance, please let these individuals know how much we appreciate their tireless commitment to our Community. USD 218 will be hosting virtual graduation ceremonies for Point Rock Alternative High School on Saturday, May 9th at 2:00 PM and Elkhart High School on Sunday, May 17th at 2:00 PM. Details will be forthcoming. Sincerely, Rex Richardson, Superintendent USD 218

College Admissions Resource Document We know during this time of uncertainty many senior students and families may have a lot of questions and concerns regarding post-secondary plans. The Kansas Board of Regents (KBOR) and Kansas State Department of Education (KSDE) are working together to develop resources to provide information to alleviate some of these concerns and answer important questions. We developed a College Admissions Among COVID-19 document that provides helpful admissions and financial aid links and virtual tools from Kansas public and independent institutions, as well as college and career exploration tools and articles related to college-decision making for 2020 graduates. We hope that you find this resource helpful. The link will auto-update as additional information is added.

EES is hosting an Egg Hunt! This egg hunt is a little different from others. I would like for you to color and draw a decorative egg and put it on your window or door at home. Then ask your parents to take you on a drive to hunt for some of your friends eggs. Mr. McDaniel

Elementary Parents, the state has shared with us we must postpone our drive through. When we can reschedule the event we will! We are disappointed because we wanted to see the kids even if from afar, but we want to follow the guidelines. Everyone stay safe!
