EES Parents here is the schedule for the week of 11-23 with a couple of notes:
1) Character Education will not change for the week. If you cannot make a session, please notify Mrs. Watson.
2) On 11-24, if your grade level is doing something different for the afternoon session your teacher will notify you.
3) Don't forget to turn in your PE logs.
4) Barring COVID catastrophe over Thanksgiving Break, we will be in regular school starting 11-30-20!

PreK-8 Parents we will be in Remote Learning until November 30th. We be assessing our situation up until then, and will notify you if the situation changes. Otherwise, please plan to be back in person on 11-30-20.

The USD 218 – Board of Education will hold a Special Meeting at 4:00 PM on Friday, November 13, 2020 at the District Office ~ 542 Morton St.
for the purpose of discussing the current COVID Pandemic impact on our school.

PreK-4 parents, there will be no school for students on Monday, November 9th. I will be meeting with staff in preparations for moving to remote learning. We will be in remote learning starting on Tuesday, November 10th-Friday, November 13th. We will reassess our situation at that time. Please be monitoring the Class Dojo School Story Line, EES Facebook Page, and the Live Feed. I will post the finalized information by lunchtime.... Our schedule is set, our meeting in the morning with staff on the 9th is to work out our logistical details, and for me to answer staff questions. I will have a question and answer session with EES parents/guardians, on Monday evening at 6pm via zoom on Monday, November 9th to answer any final questions before remote learning begins. I will post the link on Class Dojo.

EES Parents, due to our changing COVID situation there will be no in person CATS starting tonight through Thanksgiving Break (11-24). CATS personnel will be putting out information on packets and other virtual options.

Parents, let me say thank you to all of you for putting your trust and faith in us that we will put together a plan that keeps all students and staff safe with EES and will allow those that need to quarantine within the building to keep education happening!
We made it through Day 1 with relatively little problem, and had Halloween parties and our 2nd Spooktacular Costume Parade!
Just a reminder that all quarantined students need to arrive at 8:15 and will dismiss at 3:05. This will be done through the Circle Drive Doors only, which is door #5. Staff in the quarantined classrooms will arrive at 8:05, so please do not arrive before 8:15. We will have a school breakfast and lunch for all students in the quarantined classrooms, so please do not feel like you need to send a sack lunch. It is free to all students. You may if you choose, but they will still get the option of the school breakfast and lunch.
If you are NOT quarantined, you are starting school at the regular time.... Please do not be late to school!
What an amazing group of staff we have within this building that band together to make magic happen for the students even in the face of adversity! I could not be prouder of the staff and students of this building...., even in the face of COVID today..., much laughter, joy, and LEARNING was had throughout the building! There are truly many shining stars within EES!

PreK-4 Parents, just a reminder that tomorrow is our Halloween Parade. Students may bring their costumes to school with them, please do not have them wear their costumes to school, we will change prior to the parade. The parade will start as close to 2:45pm as possible.

Also, please note that Picture retakes are on Thursday 10-22! If you need a picture packet please send your student to the office for a picture packet or call us and we will send one home with your student!

Parents, Kindergarten parent reports are going home tonight for Mrs. Mitchell and Mrs. Horton. Please be looking for them with your students!

4 year old Preschool Parent reports for PTC went home last night! Parents please make certain that you have checked your kiddos bags for that important information!
